Roy L. Diez
Roy L. Diez was Associate Publisher and Director of Editorial for Professional Builder magazine, having served with the magazine for 34 years, starting as New Products Editor, moving up to Associate Editor and Managing Editor; then becoming Editor-in-Chief in 1979. In 1989 he was named Editorial Director and in 1992 was appointed a Vice President of Cahners, now Reed Business Information, Professional Builder's parent company.
Mr. Diez has won many top editorial awards, including seven Jesse H. Neal Editorial Achievement Awards, the highest honor in business press journalism. He has created and worked on such major editorial features as Professional Builder's "Annual Report of Housing's Giants," the "Annual Consumer/Builder Survey of Housing," the "Best in American Living Awards" co-sponsored with NAHB, the "Energy Value Housing Award" co-sponsored with the NAHB Research Center, and the "National Housing Quality Awards," also co-sponsored with the NAHB Research Center.
Mr. Diez has also organized and presented numerous industry seminars, including Professional Builder's annual BENCHMARK seminar. He has also directed the completion of numerous concept homes, show homes and "Show Village" demonstration home programs.
Craig A. Shutt
Craig Shutt is the former Editorial Director of Qualified Remodeler and Kitchen & Bath Design and the former Editor in Chief of Building Supply Home Centers. Most recently, he has served as Contributing Editor to a variety of magazines in the construction industry. These include Professional Builder, Luxury Homes, Professional Remodeler, Supply House Times, Contractor, BSHC, Channels from the North American Building Material Distributors Association, LBM Journal, Lowe's For Pros Web site, Remodeling, The Electrical Distributor, and publications from Ace and TruServe. A graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University with a Master's degree, Shutt has received numerous journalism awards, including two Jesse H. Neal awards, three national and 20 local awards from the American Society of Business Press Editors, four Cahners Medal of Excellence Awards and the SNAP Excellence Award for Editorial Design.
Wayne Endicott
Wayne Endicott is a former Senior Editor of Professional Builder; Editor of Automation in Housing, Ceramic Industry, and Brick & Clay Record; and Executive Editor of Construction Equipment, Window & Door Specifier, and Home Depot's Home Care Ideas; and Contributing Editor to Ascent magazine. He has been a writer in both the light and heavy construction field, including remodeling, for more than 40 years and has contributed articles to more than a dozen magazines associated with the construction industry.
Dan McLeister
Dan McLeister is a former Senior Editor of Professional Builder; Editor of ToolBase E-News for the NAHB Research Center; Editor of Seniors' Housing E-News for the NAHB Research Center; and Contributing Editor of Smart HomeOwner, Consumers Digest, Architectural Products and TecHome Builder. Mr. McLeister is an award-winning journalist who for 27 years has written about the building industry (new home construction and remodeling) throughout the United States. In writing for both specialized business publications and consumer publications, he has developed trend setting stories about home automation, indoor air quality, green building, alternative building materials, seniors housing and accessible housing (universal design).

O'Mara is the winner of three writing and photography awards from the Association of Railroad Editors and the winner of a Jesse A. Neal award.
Rob Fanjoy
