Although home improvement is Brad Staggs' main game, his lifelong interest in magic serves him well as he conjures up expert advice on home repair and remodeling for a number of DIY Network and HGTV home-repair series. Brad's
expertise, complemented by a healthy dose of humor and enthusiasm, stems from years of hands-on experience in the field. Even as a young boy, he helped his dad with weekend projects and played "gofer" at various construction sites.
Brad is certainly no stranger to broadcasting. His credentials include hosting and producing country music magazine programs as well as travel, cooking and game shows (and an acting stint on NBC's daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives). When HGTV launched in 1994, Brad was back on the air as the home-maintenance expert on Today at Home.
Brad now shares his home improvement knowledge with everyone that tunes in to Be Your Own Contractor and Talk2DIY Home Improvement on DIY, as well as semi-regular appearances on NBC's Today Show.
