The homeowners of this 1960s home bought it with the intention of remodeling and opening up the floor plan. Another goal of the remodel was to add architectural drama to the exterior of the home.
Architect Randy Pimsler's design doesn't add a lot of square footage, but it reconfigures the rooms to allow for a more open and modern floor plan. Pimsler dresses up the outside with a high-pitched roof and stonework, while the interior boasts an expanded family room with 20' ceilings and 10' windows.
