These two homeowners have decided to remodel after living in their home for eight years. They want to update the 1950s home and create a more practical floor plan.
Architect Steven House came up with a design that includes a new family room addition and a unique entryway.
The exterior changes are minimal, but a fresh coat of paint creates a more updated look. Inside, the modern kitchen and spacious family room are comfortable and practical for the family. A sprawling new deck overlooking San Francisco Bay is a highlight of the remodel.
