William J. (Bill) Stewart, P.E., president and founder of Stewart Engineering Consultants, Inc. (SEC) holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Kentucky's College of Engineering. He started the company in 1991 to provide quality architectural engineering consulting to the construction industry in the southwest Florida region.
Sustainability is integral to the company's design approach. It has been involved in more than a dozen U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) projects. SEC has experience with a wide range of cost-effective, leading-edge sustainable designs and technologies, including geothermal cooling, solar air conditioning and rainwater harvesting.
