HOST: Because this is a problem with me -- I love Three-Sixty Electrical. I always have issues with plugging in different kinds of phone chargers and all that stuff because when you've got the big, bulky head on the plug itself. Tell me -- Well, first, tell me a little bit about Three-Sixty Electrical and some of your products.
REP: Well, Three-Sixty Electrical was born -- The inventor and president of our company, Kim Gerard, (HOST: Uh-huh.) for professional reasons, had to carry two cellphones. (HOST: Right.) And traveling, she could never plug both cellphone chargers into one outlet. And it just drove her nuts. And so she finally decided, I'm going to sit down, and I'm going to fix this problem. (HOST: It's a problem that we all have.) Everybody has it. And so -- And everybody says, You know, I have that same problem. Why didn't I think of that? Well, she thought of it, and she found the solution.
HOST: She was smart enough to think of it and follow through with it. And it's a great product. Show us just -- Right here we have a little demo. Will you show us a little bit about what we're talking about?
REP: Well, the problem that she's solving is everybody has this problem with large plugs. (HOST: Right.) So, what she did is she just made it so that you can rotate the large plug out of the way and then you can stick another large plug in there. And so you don't have to unplug one to plug in the other. You get 'em set, and you get 'em plugged in; problem solved.
HOST: Ah, that's beautiful. And also -- I mean, as a -- as a new-construction builder, I can almost pinpoint where my customers are gonna put cellphones and things like that, so I can add these directly into areas like--I always think of kitchens and closets and stuff like that where we get multiple cellphones and things plugged in. Other one you have is also -- I'll put my remodeler hat on -- It's something that we can use after the construction.
REP: Absolutely. And that's our plug-in adapter. And what we've done here is we've taken the duplex receptor (HOST: Right.), and we've just made a plug-in adaptor for it. It makes it simple. You just simply plug it in, your current duplex that you have, and it gives you four, rotating receptacles. So, it's basically like having a charge-in station in a package. You just take this home, plug it in, and you can plug your cellphones in--anything with large plugs.
HOST: Now on this one, does it -- is it grandpa-protected or are we relying on the appliances -- small appliances that would protect it?
REP: Uh, small appliances -- We're gonna have this in surge protection, nonsurge, and surge -- (HOST: Oh, okay.) So, both will be available. (HOST: So you'll have multiple choices with this one.) Exactly. Exactly. And this'll be available coming out this summer around July.
HOST: Great. Well, thanks to Three-Sixty for making my job a little easier.
REP: I appreciate it. Glad we could help.
HOST: Thank you.

HOST: You know, I notice in this outlet, I don't see any screws in this. What's the trick?
REP: you don't. What we've done is we've incorporated a snap-on, screwless wallplate. So what it does is it gives it a really nice decorator look. And it's simple. After the electrician or after you've installed it, you just go back through and you snap-on the wallplate, and it gives it a nice decorator look.
[NONINTERVIEW DIALOGUE AND FOOTAGE]
HOST: I'm looking at this outlet, and I don't see any screws in it. Tell me the trick.
REP: Well, what we've done is we've incorporated a snapless, screw-on wallplate. (HOST: Uh-huh.) And what that does is gives it a nice decorator look, and it helps on -- It makes the install faster and easier. So, what we've simply done is--after you install it, the wallplate simply snaps on. So there's no screws. There's no chance of cracking or breaking the wallplate. And it gives it a nice, clean look.
HOST: It is a very clean look. I like that. [END]
