Weyerhaeuser lyptus high-grade hardwood flooring is durable and easy to install. It is a sustainable, renewable, high-yield hardwood that features exceptional workability, machining properties, density, finish tolerance and overall strength.
Lyptus standard grade contains all colors in the wood’s natural continuum, from light pink to red, with no stains. No pieces with sharp color contrasts between the sapwood and heartwood are allowed. Striped grade may contain stains on the face, and is selected for contrasting colors that create a dramatic striped effect.
End-matched tongue and groove flooring is available in random lengths in both 2" and 3" widths and 3/4" thickness. Its hardness rating (MOR) is greater than white oak, mahogany, jatoba, red oak, hard maple or beech. Available both prefinished and unfinished.
