Suburban Home Show October 16-18, 2009 in Philadelphia

The Suburban Home Show featuring Food & Wine Festival is the ideal place for a fun day out with friends and family to shop for everything made for the home and entertaining. Hundreds of top notch home improvement products and services, plus gourmet gadgets and food and beverage samples will be offered. If you love your home and enjoy trying new things, this show should not be missed!

The show takes place October 16-18, 2009 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center.

Several celebrity chefs will also be making appearances:

- Fabio Viviani is the real Italian deal and a Top Chef fave. Currently promoting his Cafe Firenze Cookbook, he is set to open Firenze Osteria in North Hollywood, California.

- Ingrid Hoffmann shares her passion for Latin inspired food on her entertaining Food Network series, Simply Delicioso.

- Chef Robert Irvine has cooked on a desert island, for master instructors at the Culinary Institute of America, at the Inauguration of PA Governor Ed Rendell, in an ice hotel, for cowboys on a cattle drive and more!

- Emmy Award-winning Philly girl Christina Pirello, host of the television series, Christina Cooks, has been teaching about the positive power of whole food in our lives for the past sixteen years, since she defied her doctors and overcame leukemia with a macrobiotic diet.

Admission: $12 at the box office. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Celebrity chef seminars $30 (includes admission to the show).

Wine seminars/tastings $20 extra.

Beer seminar/tasting $10 extra.

Show hours: Friday, October 16 2 - 9PM; Saturday, October 17 11AM - 9PM; Sunday, October 18 11AM - 6PM.
