    Starrett Protractor

LS Starrett's Pro-Site Protractor is one of those things that, once you've used a couple of times, you wonder how you ever got by without it. The tool is designed to map angles mostly for trim. Use the protractor to trace the angle and — unlike a wimpy bevel square — the Pro-Site's scales indicate the exact miter saw setting for one- or two-piece cuts.

I've used this tool way more than I ever thought I would: for blocking and drywall in a hip roof retro-fit; determining arbitrary angles for casework design; and for woodworking. I even used it laying out stair stringers when my framing square went missing. I have a kitchen crown molding project coming up with funky inside corners and the Pro-Site will be my go-to.

LS Starrett's Pro-Site Protractor was designed job-site tough by remodeler Marc Shapiro. It's an authentic time saver and quality enhancer. Nice work.
