    ClimbTek Ladder/Scaffold

I'd be lying if I said I never jerry-rigged some mish-mash of ladders, boards and not-so-smartness to paint a stairwell, lop off a tree limb or tear down a ceiling. As an HGTVPro.com contributing editor, I should be Mr. By-The-Book, right?

Well, I'm one of you, and the job needs to get done. You know what I mean. That doesn't mean the carefully erected (if not entirely OSHA-approved) site climbers I've used to weren't scary or that I didn't wish that I had an articulating ladder to help me reach — and stay safely — at all those places you need to reach and stay safely at.

ClimbTek's CT412 and CT416 ladders offer a response to jobsite get-up-there get-ups. You can use them as straight-up ladders or re-configure them into double-sided stepladders. You can bend them in all kinds of cool ways to make them work as ladders with stand-offs to get under a wide eave, or crank the easy-to-use hardware just-so and climb to that stairwell otherwise off limits to regular ladders. You can even divide the unit for use as staging brackets.

Check out ClimbTek's useful accessory sets too — steps, paint caddies and walk-boards. All told, ClimbTek puts together an articulate ladder system that'll take you — express — where you need to go.
