Solar makes sense to me. I know there are reasons why there isn't more of it, but, frankly, they don't make sense to me. But with some of the biggest solar projects in history coming on line, solar's day in the sun may be just ahead of us.
It looks like Fafco is ready with its Revolution solar domestic hot-water heating system.
According to the company, the panel technology is light, easy-to-install and way efficient. Revolution is designed for remodeling projects and new construction utilizing PEX piping and compression fittings.
The system does three of the things green products do best: increase efficiency; decrease consumption of fossil fuels; and lower cost of ownership over the long haul. According to Fafco, Revolution can save homeowners 50 percent on their water-heating bills. Tack onto that a tax break and now you're cookin' with — well, sunlight.
