If you tuned into Good Morning America on Thanksgiving Day, you might remember that a turkey was actually cooked during the show.
Now, we all know the ‘magic’ of TV cooking, but GMA's food editor, chef Sara Moulton, actually cooked a 12-pound unstuffed turkey during the show. It took 42 minutes. Now that’s turbo.
While I haven’t had the opportunity to take the 30-inch Single Wall Speedcook out for a test drive at my house, the company claims you can cook a 10-inch pie in 15 minutes and two racks of lamb in 5 minutes.
The oven boasts a state-of-the-art color LCD interface, recipe settings, seven Speedcook modes and much more. Offered with a choice of seven oven doors, the company suspects that the stainless steel, orange hearth and thermal red will be the most popular. The 30-inch Single Wall Speedcook Oven will be available in June 2007.
