Small Kitchens Category -- Honorable Mention -- Making More of Less
At eight and a half feet in width, this kitchen stands small but mighty in its high functionality. Selection and placement of equipment was the key to success for this design. An integrated refrigerator and dishwasher were fitted behind cabinetry and an on-wall storage system maintains a clean line to this galley kitchen. The taller components of the kitchen were clustered at the same end of the room as the existing pantry to allow for more counter area near the entry and window.

Truffle brown pine cabinetry gives a pleasing contrast to white Carrara marble countertops and backsplash. A wall to display the client's photography and cabinets with no handles finish out a slight but sleek and usable beauty.
